Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) fires can last for days. In the past they have been caused by extreme heat, lightening strikes, or malfunctions. Lets hope we don't have an earthquake! Based on previous fires at these facilities, the toxic plume may reach a 5-mile radius requiring evacuation of schools, residents and businesses.
